Adam Denning, Microsoft Corp., makes the case for XML and describes how

Adam Denning is the Group Program Manager for the XML and XSL groups at Microsoft. Before even that far back, Adam was a senior consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services in the UK, helping large financial organizations to design and build systems and applications based on Microsoft technologies.
